CSN FOOTBALL PHEVER CONTEST

NO PURCHASE NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN. VOID WHERE PROHIBITED OR RESTRICTED. ONLY LEGAL RESIDENTS OF PA, NJ AND DE WHO MEET THE CRITERIA SET FORTH HEREIN ARE ELIGIBLE TO WIN PRIZES.

By participating in the CSN Football Phever Contest (the “Contest”), each entrant acknowledges that he/she has read, understands and will comply with the following rules (the “Official Rules”) in their entirety, which Official Rules are final and binding on all matters pertaining to the Contest.  WINNERS WILL BE DETERMINED BY THE CRITERIA SET FORTH HEREIN.  The Contest may not be used in any form of gambling.

1. CONTEST PERIOD:

The Contest runs from September 10, 2009 upon posting until 11:59:59 P.M. EST on the day of the final game set forth on Schedule “A” attached hereto (the “Schedule”) (“Contest Closing Date”) (the “Contest Period”).

2. ELIGIBILITY:

NO PURCHASE NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN.  The Contest is offered electronically via the Internet (“Online”) to all legal residents of PA, NJ and DE, and who are 18 years of age or older on the date that the Contest begins. PERSONS RESIDING IN OTHER JURISDICTIONS ARE NOT ELIGIBLE TO WIN ANY PRIZES IN CONNECTION WITH THIS CONTEST. IN ADDITION, THE FOLLOWING PERSONS ARE NOT ELIGIBLE TO ENTER THIS CONTEST OR WIN ANY PRIZES IN CONNECTION WITH THIS CONTEST:  employees of Comcast SportsNet Philadelphia, L.P. (“CSN Philly” or “Sponsor”) and Exponentia Communications Corporation (“Administrator”) and their respective parents, affiliates, subsidiaries and advertising and promotion agencies, and the immediate families (spouse, parents, siblings, children and their respective spouses, regardless of where they reside) and members of the households, whether or not related, of each of the above.  The Contest is subject to all applicable federal, state and local laws.  Void where prohibited or restricted.
To be eligible to win a prize, each entrant must have Internet access with a valid Facebook account and a valid e-mail address as of the date of his or her entry. If a player does not have a Facebook account they can obtain one at www.facebook.com.  If the identity of an entrant is disputed, the authorized account holder of the e-mail address submitted at the time of entry into the Contest will be deemed to be the entrant. The individual assigned to the e-mail address by an online service provider, Internet access provider or other organization responsible for assigning the e-mail address for the domain associated with the submitted e-mail address is considered the authorized account holder. An entrant may be required to provide Administrator with proof that she or he is the authorized account holder of the e-mail address associated with the winning entry.  Administrator reserves the right to remove any entry or refuse to allow an entry based on content. All entries become the property of CSN Philly and will not be acknowledged or returned.
All entrants will be given the option to receive commercial emails from CSN Philly; however, eligibility to participate in the Contest is not dependent upon entrant’s consent to receive such emails.

3. HOW TO ENTER AND PLAY:

A.        How to Enter. How to Enter Each potential Contest participant must connect using their Facebook account and complete and submit an online registration at http://www.playaction.tv/comcast/csnphilly/en/football-live/ prior to the Contest Close Date. The user will be required to supply their valid e-mail address. Once the user has connected their Facebook account to http://www.playaction.tv/comcast/csnphilly/en/football-live/ and entered then required information, they will be considered to have created an account. Each entrant must then click ‘SUBMIT’ to complete the Contest registration and become a “Registered Participant”.  Each Registered Participant represents and warrants to the Released Parties (as defined in Section 8) that his or her registration form will not contain content that she or he does not have the right to transmit under any law, contract or fiduciary relationship or contain any viruses or any other information that may damage or otherwise interfere with the computer systems or data of the Released Parties or that of the Released Parties’ users.  
B. How to Play.  During each game listed in the Schedule (each an “Eligible Game”), Registered Participants will have the opportunity to earn points by answering trivia and prediction questions posted Online at http://www.playaction.tv/comcast/csnphilly/en/football-live/ while logged into their account. Zero (0) points will be awarded for questions that are not answered. Registered Participants will earn fifty (50) points for answering a question incorrectly, and five hundred (500) points for answering a question correctly.

Odds Multipliers: individual responses in select questions will have “Odds Multipliers” which will be reflected in the points clearly indicated beside each option, and awarded for that response in the event that the question is answered correctly. For example: “How many passes will the Chicago Bears complete in their next set of downs? One (1500), 2 or more (1000), None (500)” This “Odds Multiplier” indicates the relative likelihood of the event and are assigned at the discretion of Administrator. In this example, if the Registered Participant chooses “One” and he or she is correct, he or she will receive 1,500 points for that correct answer.

Time Bonus: select questions will carry a time bonus for registering correct answers quickly. This will be clearly indicated with a stopwatch icon beside the question. Maximum time bonus points of five hundred (500) points will be available for the first 30 seconds after the question is opened. After 30 seconds have passed the time bonus points will decay from five hundred (500) to zero (0) points 150 seconds after the question was opened. A Registered Participant’s time bonus points will be assigned based on the time expired from the opening of the question to the time he or she confirms his or her answer.

Each Registered Participant shall be entered into the Grand Prize Draw (as defined below) upon registration. Additional entries to the Grand Prize Draw are awarded on the following schedule.  First place including ties in an Eligible Game is worth 5 entries.  Second place including ties in an Eligible Game is worth 3 entries.  Third place including ties in an Eligible Game is worth 2 entries. Participating in an Eligible Game and answering at least one question is worth 1 entry.  Each entry earned by a Registered Participant during an Eligible Game will represent an additional entry for that person into the Grand Prize Draw. All disputes will be settled solely by Administrator.
C. How to Win.
(i)         Game Prizes: There are a total of twenty-seven (27) Game Prizes (as described below) to be won during the Contest Period.  Subject to the terms and conditions set forth herein, the Registered Participant who earns the most points during each Eligible Game will be the potential winner of the Game Prize for that particular game. In the event of a tie, a random draw will be conducted among the Registered Participants with the same amount of points to select the potential winner for that Eligible Game. If there are no questions answered for a particular Eligible Game, no Game Prize will be awarded and no entries will be added to the Grand Prize Draw (as described below) in respect of points earned for that game. The potential winner(s) of each Game Prize will be contacted by email and/or phone. If the potential winner does not respond to prize notification within 48 hours or the prize notification is returned as undeliverable, the potential winner forfeits the prize, and Administrator may, at its sole discretion, select an alternate winner.
ii)         Grand Prize:  There is one (1) Grand Prize (as described below) available to be won during the Contest Period.  Subject to the terms and conditions set forth herein, the potential Grand Prize winner will be drawn at random from among all eligible entries received during the Contest Period (the “Grand Prize Draw”). The Grand Prize Draw will take place on or about the first business day following the final game on the Schedule. The potential winner of the Grand Prize will be contacted by email and/or phone. If the potential winner does not respond to prize notification within 48 hours or the prize notification is returned as undeliverable, the potential winner forfeits the prize, and Administrator may, at its sole discretion, select an alternate winner.

4. PRIZE DESCRIPTIONS:

Twenty-seven (27) Game Prizes Are Available To Be Won – Each Game Prize consists of a $25.00 gift certificate to Modell’s Sporting Goods.  Estimated prize value of each Game Prize is approximately $25.00.
One (1) Grand Prize Is Available To Be Won:  The Grand Prize consists of a $500.00 gift certificate to Best Buy. Estimated value of the Grand Prize is approximately $500.00
Total Estimated Value of all Prizes:  $1,175.00

All prizes must be accepted as awarded. Prizes are non-transferable and non-redeemable for cash. No substitutions, except by Administrator, who reserves the right to substitute a prize or any portion of a prize with a prize of equal or greater value.  All applicable local, state and federal taxes, if any, and any and all expenses not specified in these Official Rules are the sole responsibility of and will be paid for by each winner.

5. PRIZE DESCRIPTIONS

The odds of winning a Game Prize depend on the number of eligible Registered Participants and the number of questions answered correctly by the Registered Participants. The odds of winning the Grand Prize depend on the number of eligible Registered Participants and the number of entries earned by the eligible Registered Participants.

6. COMPLETION OF PRIZE CLAIM:

Within five (5) business days following a potential winner’s response to the prize notification, each potential winner may be required to sign a standard declaration of compliance with the Official Rules and release form(s) releasing CSN Philly and Administrator and their respective parents, subsidiaries and affiliates and advertising and promotion agencies and all of their respective agents, employees, directors and officers (collectively, the “Released Parties”) from any liability occurring as a result of the prize being awarded and, where lawful, a publicity consent.  In addition, each potential winner may be required to provide photo identification establishing that he or she is 18 years of age or older. Failure to comply with these provisions may result in disqualification and potential selection of an alternate potential winner. Any prize notification returned as undeliverable or any determination that any potential winner is ineligible, may result in disqualification and selection of an alternate potential winner. The Released Parties will not have any liability or responsibility for any claim arising in connection with participation in this Contest or any prize awarded. Acceptance of a prize constitutes permission for the Released Parties and their respective designees to use each winner's name, biographical information, and/or likeness for the purposes of advertising without further compensation authorization, remuneration or notification, as permitted by law.

7. AWARDING OF PRIZES:

The Released Parties are not responsible for and shall not be liable for late, lost, misdirected or unsuccessful efforts to notify winner(s). For a list of winners (available after February 8, 2010) or an additional copy of the Official Rules, mail a self-addressed, stamped envelope to:  CSN Football Phever Contest, 610-425 Carrall Street, Vancouver, BC, V6B 6E3.  Specify “Rules” or “Winners List.”  All prize(s) must be accepted as awarded, are non-transferable and are not convertible to cash. Use of any prize, or any portion thereof, for a contest or re-sale is strictly prohibited. No substitution of prizes will be permitted, except by Administrator who may substitute the prize or any portion of the prize with a prize of equal or greater value at its sole discretion. The Released Parties’ obligation to the winner(s) is limited to the prize specified above.

8. RELEASE:

By entering the Contest and/or accepting a prize, the entrant agrees to release and hold harmless the Released Parties from any liability whatsoever and waive any and all causes of action, for any claims, costs, injuries, losses or damages of any kind arising out of, or in connection with, the Contest or acceptance, possession, or use of any prize (including without limitation claims, costs, injuries, losses or damages related to personal injuries, death, damage to or destruction of property, rights of publicity or privacy, defamation or portrayal in a false light, whether intentional or unintentional), whether under a theory of contract, tort (including negligence), warranty or other theory,  The Released Parties (i) make no warranty, guaranty or representation of any kind concerning any prize,  (ii) disclaim any implied warranty and (iii) are not responsible for any changes in the National Football League schedule that change the number of games set forth on the Schedule, including, but not limited, due to inclement weather, network changes or work stoppages.

9. ERRORS & DAMAGE:

The Released Parties are not responsible for typographical or other errors in the offer or administration of this Contest, including but not limited to errors in advertising, the Official Rules, the selection and announcement of winners, or the distribution of any prize. The Released Parties are not responsible for technical, hardware or software failures of any kind, lost or unavailable network connections, failed, incomplete, garbled or delayed computer transmissions including lost, misappropriated or corrupted entries, virus, worm or Trojan Horse damage or any other damage which may limit an entrant’s ability to participate in the Contest.�Administrator reserves the right at its sole discretion to disqualify any individual who is found (i) to be tampering with the entry process or the operation of the Contest; (ii) to be acting in violation of the Official Rules; or (iii) to be acting in an un-sportsmanlike or disruptive manner, or with intent to annoy, abuse, threaten or harass any other person. CAUTION: ANY ATTEMPT BY AN ENTRANT OR ANY OTHER INDIVIDUAL TO DELIBERATELY ALTER OR DAMAGE ANY ENTRY OR UNDERMINE THE LEGITIMATE OPERATION OF THE CONTEST IS A VIOLATION OF CRIMINAL AND CIVIL LAWS AND SHOULD SUCH AN ATTEMPT BE MADE, ADMINISTRATOR RESERVES THE RIGHT TO DISQUALIFY SUCH ENTRANT OR INDIVIDUAL AND SEEK DAMAGES OR ANY OTHER REMEDY FROM ANY SUCH ENTRANT OR INDIVIDUAL TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW.

IF YOU ARE A MINOR, YOUR PARENTS OR LEGAL GUARDIANS FURTHER AGREE TO INDEMNIFY EACH OF THE RELEASED PARTIES FROM ANY CLAIMS, COSTS, INJURIES, LOSSES, OR DAMAGES DESCRIBED IN THE PRECEDING PARAGRAPH WHICH MAY BE SUFFERED BY YOU.

10. GOVERNING LAW:

This Contest and the Official Rules are governed by and to be construed under the laws of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, United States.

11. GOVERNING LAW:

The Contest is subject to these Official Rules and all applicable federal, state and local laws and regulations.  Administrator reserve the right to terminate this Contest or change these Official Rules at any time, at its sole discretion without notice to participants. THIS CONTEST IS VOID WHERE PROHIBITED OR RESTRICTED.
